s l o e is a communications studio based in gorgeous Galway on Ireland’s west coast. We design and edit content, working closely with creative businesses to tell their stories beautifully.
In April 2016 s l o e launched the food lovers’ book club ‘Cook the Books’. The format attracted a loyal membership and has met at the Lewes Arms almost every month since, until Covid-19 forced a long break.
Cook the Books encorporates themed ‘pot-luck' suppers, as well as collaborative ‘field’ events with food writers and producers such as Barcombe Nurseries and Bluebell Farmhouse Kitchen.
The event branding has remained consistent since its launch, with s l o e producing effective posters, Eventbrite banners, Mailchimp templates, photos and a Wordpress website.
